Accordia Privacy Policy

Effective September 18, 2026

Accordia is a chord-pad instrument for iPhone and iPad. It never sends anything about you or your playing to the developer or to anyone else.

What Accordia collects

Nothing. Accordia has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising, and it makes no network connection of its own; the only thing it asks of the outside world is Apple's App Store, about the purchase described below. It does not collect, store, or transmit personal information, usage data, or identifiers of any kind.

Purchases

Accordia is free, with one optional purchase, Unlock Everything. Apple sells and processes it through the App Store; Accordia never sees your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account. The app learns one thing from Apple, whether this Apple Account holds the unlock, and keeps that yes or no on your device.

Where your songs are kept

Your songs, sections, chords, settings, and any chord-chart photos you scan are stored only in the app's own storage on your device, and in your iCloud or iTunes device backup if you have backups turned on. They are never sent to the developer or to anyone else.

Camera and photos

When you choose Scan Chord Chart, Accordia asks for camera access to photograph a page, or lets you pick an image from your photo library. The image is read on your device to find chord symbols. If you keep the page as a playing surface, a copy is saved inside the app's storage. No image is uploaded anywhere.

Third parties

Accordia contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code. Its sounds come from the Fluid (R3) SoundFont by Frank Wen (MIT License), VSCO 2 Community Edition strings by Versilian Studios, and instruments from the FreePats project (both CC0), with its pads synthesized by Accordia itself. Every notice is shown in the app under Sound › Sounds.

Children

Accordia does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it collects no information at all.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
