Quick answers
- What's free, and what does the unlock add?
- Accordia is free to download and free to play: the pads, the pedal, sections, the chord editor, and the piano, in one song that keeps your edits. One purchase, Unlock Everything, adds the other thirteen instruments, vamps, the metronome with tempo and meter, the chord-chart scanner, the song library with templates, and the Song Wizard. It's a single payment, not a subscription, and it works with Family Sharing. Anything drawn grey with a small lock is part of the unlock; tap it to see the offer.
- I bought the unlock. Why is the app locked on my other device?
- Tap any grey control, then Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with, or one in the same Family Sharing group.
- How do I add chords?
- Tap the edit button (top right), then the dashed “+” pad. On a song you play from its scanned page, tap the page in edit mode to drop a chord there, or choose Play from Pads in the song menu. With the unlock, you can also tap the wand for the Song Wizard, or open the song menu (the song's name) and choose Scan Chord Chart.
- How does the pedal work?
- Hold the PEDAL button while you play and every chord you release keeps sounding until the next one. Slide it while holding to move it anywhere over the pads. In Sound › Hold Zone, the bottom quarter of every pad becomes a hold, for one-handed playing.
- Why are some vamps missing?
- Vamps are part of the unlock. Once unlocked, each meter offers the figures written for it. Change the meter on the bar under the pads to see that bar's vamps. A custom beat count gets the pulse-based figures only.
- Where are the Roman numerals and arrows?
- In the song menu, for any song that knows its key. Songs from the Wizard and templates always do, and both come with the unlock. A scanned page gets one when its chords make the key clear, which a page that ends on its home chord usually does; if the chords are too few or too ambiguous, the menu won't offer them.
- The sound is late over Bluetooth.
- Bluetooth audio adds delay no app can remove. Wired headphones or the speaker respond tightest; Accordia shows a note when it detects a slow route.
- Does Accordia record?
- No. It's an instrument. To keep a take, record the room or the device screen with a recording app.
